Estudi sobre l'envelliment actiu a Portbou

Abstract

Aquest treball es centra en fer una recerca de les diferents entitats i associacions del poble de Portbou (Alt Empordà) on participen les persones grans de manera activa, per tal de conèixer les diferents accions de participació social de la gent gran i els recursos que hi ha al poble per aquestes persones. La recerca també pretén conèixer les vivències d'algunes persones grans, que participen de manera directa en aquestes entitats i associacions, per saber quins beneficis els aporta mantenir-se actives. La principal aportació d’aquest treball és la visió global, actual i contrastada que proporciona sobre les accions de promoció de l’envelliment actiu i la qualitat de vida del les persones grans del municipi de Portbou. Visió construïda a partir de la triangulació entre diverses fonts d’informació i les opinions de les persones directament implicades.

This paper focuses on the study of several entities and associations in the village of Portbou (Alt Empodà) where elderly people participate actively. In this way, it will be possible to be aware of the different actions of social participation of elderly people and the resources that are in the village for these people. This research also aims to know the experiences of some elderly people, which have participated directly in those entities and asociations, to dicover which benefits they recieve from being actives. The main contribution of this paper is the global vision, current and proven on the promoted active aging and life quality of elderly people in the village of Portbou. Vision constructed from the contrast between differents sources of information and the opinions of those directly involved.
