Abstract

Després d'escoltar la història d'en Jawad Khan, un refugiat de Pakistan que va haver de marxar del seu país per problemes interns, relacionats amb política, vam tenir clara quina seria la intenció del nostre documental. És una història intensa i molt verdadera, des del primer moment ens va suggestionar i enlluernar, aquesta ha estat la nostra principal motivació, havia de sortir a la llum. Les ganes de viure i sobreviure, la lluita interna, la força, la perseverança, la voluntat i la seva essència personal ens van fascinar des del primer moment, fins i tot ens va sorgir una sana admiració que perdura i perdurarà el llarg del temps. D'aquí ha sorgit el nostre documental, hem parlat amb testimonis de la seva història que ens han acompanyat i abraçat durant la recerca, tant voluntaris com refugiats que vivien amb ell a Grècia. Aquest treball escrit és una recopilació de tot allò que ha suposat i significat fer aquest peça, tant de la part tècnica, com d'estratègia i d’organització. També està reflectida la nostra visió personal, viure aquesta experiència ens ha suposat créixer personalment i professionalment.

After getting to know the mesmerizing and moving story of Jawad Khan, a refugee from Pakistan who was forced to leave his country due to political internal problems, we had a clearer idea about what the focus of our documentary would be. Since the very beginning, we were captivated by the intensity and the powerfulness of the story, which brought us to bring it to life. His capacity of living and surviving at the same time, his internal fight, his strength, determination and unique voice, stroke a chord with us and from here a feeling of admiration came out. And this admiration we have towards him will last throughout all times. This is exactly how our documentary started. We spoke with witnesses that left an important mark on his story and that they have been present with us during our research. These witnesses are both volunteers and refugees that were living with him in Greece. The following written work presents not only the technical part but also the strategical and organizational one that has been part throughout the making of the documentary. You will also find reflected our personal perspective and vision while living this experience that made us grow personally and also professionally.
