Acompanyament al dol des d'una perspectiva socioeducativa

Abstract

La mort, esdevé un tema complexa, el qual no és fàcil abordar. És un tema amb el qual convivim cada dia, però en canvi no se'n parla i tampoc s'educa. Ningú ens prepara ni ens ensenya a fer front a la mort ni a elaborar un dol. El present treball esdevé un assaig que pretén reflexionar sobre la concepció que existeix al voltant de la mort i el dol a nivell de societat, i investigar quina implicació hi té l'educació en aquesta realitat. La finalitat d'aquest, és identificar quines intervencions es podrien dur a terme des de l'educació social en aquests àmbits. Per portar-lo a terme, s'ha utilitzat una metodologia qualitativa orientada a comprendre i interpretar una realitat. A partir d'experiències de persones vinculades al món de l'educació s'han pogut identificar les dificultats amb les quals es troben per a fer front a situacions de mort i dol dins les aules, i també les necessitats que presenten els infants en situació de dol. Per altra banda, ha estat interessant conèixer com s'acompanyen processos de dol, de la mà de professionals de diferents associacions, i per últim, a partir de l'experiència d'una persona que va viure un dol complicat en primera persona, m'ha permet conèixer les necessitats amb les quals ens trobem a l'hora d'elaborar el dol.

Death becomes a complex issue, which is not an easy topic to deal with. It is a subject in which we live with every day, but instead it is a matter that is not discussed and neither is it educated. No one prepares us or teaches us how to cope with death or how to draw up the mourning. The present work becomes an essay that aims to reflect on the conception of what exists around death and mourning at the societal level, and to investigate what involvement education has in this reality. The purpose of this paper is to identify what interventions could be carried out from social education in this field. To do this, a qualitative approach has been used to understand and interpret a reality. From the experiences of people linked to the world of education, it has been possible to identify the difficulties they face in dealing with situations of death and mourning in the classroom, as well as the needs that children present during mourning. On the other hand, it has been interesting to know how mourning processes are accompanied, from the hand of professionals from different associations, and also from the experience of a person who lived a complicated mourning in the first person. All this, allows us to know the needs we meet when elaborating the mourning.
