Hacia la autoformación permanente de los docentes en las comunidades de práctica: los talleres de internet en el Aula

Abstract

El objetivo principal de este trabajo es determinar si las comunidades virtuales de práctica son un espacio adecuado para la autoformación de los docentes. Con este fin, primero se especifican algunos conceptos clave que ayuden a contextualizar el tema de la formación; en segundo lugar se recogen los rasgos que se consideran hoy necesarios para llevar a cabo la labor docente, dibujándose así el perfil “ideal” del profesor en el contexto actual desde distintos ángulos de vista; y por último, se narran algunas experiencias personales en las redes sociales para ilustrar el funcionamiento de este nuevo paradigma social.

The main objective of this project is to determine whether virtual communities of practice are adequate space for the self-training of teachers. To this end, firstly some key concepts which help contextualize the issue of training are specified; secondly, features that are nowadays considered necessary to carry out the task of teaching are listed, in order to draw the “ideal” teacher profile in the current context from different points of view; and finally, several personal experiences in social networks are told to illustrate the running of this new social paradigm. To clarify whether this is a feasible training model, the workshops offered on the social network Internet en el Aula are taken as an example, this is a type of online training that shares some similarities with the MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), which are increasingly becoming more popular among those who frequent these new learning environments.
