Intervenció infermera davant l'impacte familiar de les fases inicals de la malaltia de l'Alzheimer

Abstract

L’objectiu d’aquest estudi és conèixer quina és l’experiència i l’impacte en el grup familiar més directe o pròxim, entenent com impacte les preocupacions, pors i amenaces que genera un diagnòstic d’Alzheimer primerenc. L’estudi es durà a terme a partir d’una mostra de persones de la població adscrita al Centre d’Atenció Primària Vic Nord de Vic, Catalunya. El disseny d’estudi es basa en una metodologia qualitativa de tipus exploratòria utilitzant com a marc de referència el model de counseling, per a l’acompanyament de la persona i família, el qual vol donar lloc, a partir dels resultats obtinguts, a un posterior programa d’intervenció. L’estudi es realitzarà a familiars o persones significatives d’usuaris que pateixen la malaltia d’Alzheimer i que es troben en les fases inicials d’aquesta. La selecció dels participants es realitzarà a partir de les recomanacions i suggeriments dels professionals d’infermeria del centre. L’instrument a emprar per a l’obtenció de les dades serà l’entrevista semiestructurada individual en profunditat. S’utilitzarà el programa Atlas.ti com a software per a l’anàlisi de les dades qualitatives, gestió i creació de models. Les possibles limitacions que poden aparèixer estan relacionades amb el fet que l’estudi s’ha basat en un únic centre d’atenció primària i amb el mètode d’obtenció de les dades.

The objective of this study is to discover which is the experience and the impact in a closer family group, understanding the impact of concerns, fears, and threats that appear due to an early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. This study will be carried out through a sample of patients who are registered in the Vic North Primary Health centre in Vic, Catalonia. The study design is based on a qualitative methodology with an exploratory type, using as frame of reference the counseling model to accompany the patient and its family. This later led to an intervention programme due to the results obtained. The study will be performed on relatives or significant people known by the patients who suffer from Alzheimer's disease and who are in the first stages of this illness. The selection of participants will be based on the recommendations and suggestions made by nursing professionals of the centre. The tool that will be used to obtain the data will be a thorough and individual semi-structured interview. The programme Atlas.ti will be used as software for the analysis of qualitative data, management and creation of models. The possible limitations that may occur are related to the fact that the study is based on only one Primary Health Centre and due to the method of obtaining data.
