La Musicoterapia : tratamiento alternativo y lúdico para niños con fibrosis quística

Abstract

Resumen: La fibrosis quística es una enfermedad genética letal. Los tratamientos farmacéuticos y fisioterápicos son fastidiosos, cansadores, además es una terapia cotidiana a lo largo de la vida. Los programas de curaciones convencionales afectan de manera importante las actividades de la vida cotidiana de las personas. Nuevas terapias alternativas más lúdicas podrían evitar o disminuir la desmotivación de estos enfermos. Objetivo: Evaluar la eficacia de un protocolo de rehabilitación fisioterapéutica respiratoria que incluye sesiones de musicoterapia sobre niños o adolescentes con fibrosis quística. Metodología: La intervención realizada es un protocolo experimental. Está compuesta de una muestra de 92 pacientes la cual se dividirá en dos grupos para evaluar la eficacia del programa: 46 casos controles que seguirán sesiones de fisioterapia respiratoria convencional y 46 pacientes que seguirán el protocolo experimental mediante fisioterapia respiratoria convencional y musicoterapia semanalmente de forma complementaria. Todas las sesiones del programa que sean de fisioterapia respiratoria o de musicoterapia se desarrollarán de forma individual. Análisis de los resultados: Utilizaré el programa SPSS como herramienta para el análisis de los datos de las variables. Una vez realizado el trabajo de campo, haré un análisis descriptivo para conocer las características de cada grupo en cada momento de la intervención. Posteriormente se realizará un análisis de tipo inferencial para comparar la evolución de los distintos parámetros a lo largo del tratamiento intra-grupos y también inter-grupos para poder así establecer qué tratamiento es más eficaz.

Abstract: The cystic fibrosis is a genetic lethal disease. Pharmaceuticals and physiotherapies treatments are annoying, exhausting, and it is a daily therapy along the life. Conventional treatments affect significantly the daily life activities of these persons. New alternative therapies, more playful, might avoid or decrease the lack of motivation of these patients. Aim: To evaluate the efficiency of a physiotherapy respiratory protocol that includes working with musictherapy on children or teenagers with cystic fibrosis. Methodology: The realized intervention is an experimental protocol. It is composed from a sample of 92 patients which will be divided randomly in two groups to evaluate the efficiency of the program: 46 control cases that will follow the conventional physiotherapy respiratory treatment and 46 patients who will follow the experimental protocol with the conventional physiotherapy respiratory sessions plus a weekly musictherapy session. Each session of the program whether they are physiotherapy respiratory session or musictherapy session will be individual. Analysis of the results: I will use the SPSS program as tool for the analysis of the information of the variables. Once realized the fieldwork, I will make a descriptive analysis to know the characteristics of every group in every moment of the intervention. Later, I will realize an inferential statistical analysis to compare the evolution of the different parameters along the treatment intra-groups and also inter-groups to establish which treatment is more effective.
