Eficacia de una terapia motora musical para recuperar la funcionalidad del miembro superior hemiarético en pacientes con accidente vascular cerebral

Abstract

Objetivo: Aportar evidencia científica y evaluar la eficacia de una terapia motora musical además del tratamiento de rehabilitación convencional en pacientes con hemiparesia de la extremidad superior. Metodología: El estudio es experimental de tipo ensayo clínico aleatorizado controlado. Se realizará en el Hospital de l’Esperança en Barcelona. La investigación se basará en la comparación del tratamiento convencional con el tratamiento con musicoterapia. Entonces se comparará los datos de estos grupos de cincuenta y seis pacientes. Esta comparación se hará sobre los resultados de seis escalas: el Action Research Arm Test, el Nine Hole Pegboard Test, el grip strength, el the Situational Motivation Scale, el Barcelona Music Reward Questionnaire y el SF-36. Se analizarán gracias al programa SPSS 23. Limitaciones del estudio: Las principales limitaciones son económicas, el tamaño de la muestra, la posibilidad de abandono y la limitación de extensión del estudio a los diferentes niveles de afectación del AVC.

Objective: To provide scientific evidence and evaluate the efficacy of a musical motor therapy in addition to conventional rehabilitation treatment in patients with upper extremity hemiparesis. Methodology: The study is experimental of a randomized controlled clinical trial type. It will be conducted at the Hospital de l'Esperança in Barcelona. The investigation will be based on the comparison of the conventional treatment with the treatment with music therapy. The data from these groups of fifty-six patients will then be compared. This comparison will be made on the results of six scales: the Action Research Arm Test, the Nine Hole Pegboard Test, the grip strength, the the Situational Motivation Scale, the Barcelona Music Reward Questionnaire and the SF-36. They will be analyzed thanks to the SPSS 23 program. Limitations of the study: The main limitations are economic, sample size, the possibility of abandonment and the limitation of the study's extension to the different levels of stroke involvement.
