Avaluació de l'efectivitat del massatge Thiele com a tractament de la disparèunia generalitzada

Abstract

Objectiu: L’objectiu de l’estudi és avaluar l’eficàcia del tractament fisioterapèutic amb massatge Thiele com a tractament per a dones majors de 18 anys diagnosticades de disparèunia. Metodologia: L’estudi és un estudi pilot experimental quantitatiu aleatoritzat tipus assaig clínic controlat amb avaluació cega per a tercers. Es realitzarà l’estudi a les àrees públiques de la comarca d’Osona adherides al Consorci Hospitalari de Vic (Vic i Manlleu). A l’estudi hi haurà dos grups de 47 dones majors de 18 anys, diagnosticades amb disparèunia generalitzada. Un dels grups rebrà el tractament ginecològic habitual i l’altre la intervenció fisioterapèutica amb massatge Thiele. L’obtenció de dades es farà mitjançant quatre valoracions: l’Escala Analoga del Dolor (EVA), l’índex de funció sexual femenina (FSFI), el questionari de qualitat de vida (SF-12) i un questionari específic creat per ser autoadministrat. Limitacions de l’estudi: Una limitació important és l’obtenció d’una mostra esbiaixada i la conseqüent desviació dels resultats degut a creences que poden tenir les dones a l’hora de demanar ajuda pel dolor que genera la penetració. Aquesta vergonya en part s’explica perquè hi ha religions i cultures que creen mites i tabús al voltant de la sexualitat.

Objectives: : The aim of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of physiotherapy treatment with Thiele massage as a treatment for women over 18 years of age diagnosed with dyspareunia. Methodology: The study is a randomized quantitative experimental pilot study in the form of a controlled clinical trial with blinded third-party evaluation. The study will be carried out in the public areas of the Osona region that are members of the Vic Hospital Consortium (Vic and Manlleu). The study will include two groups of 47 women over the age of 18, diagnosed with generalized dyspareunia. One of the groups will receive the usual gynecological treatment and the other the physiotherapy intervention with Thiele massage. Data will be obtained using four assessments: the Analogue Pain Scale (EVA), the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI), the quality of life questionnaire (SF-12) and a specific questionnaire created to be self-administered. Limitations of the study: An important limitation is the obtaining of a biased sample and the consequent deviation of the results due to beliefs that women may have when asking for help because of the pain caused by penetration. This shame is partly explained by the fact that there are religions and cultures that create myths and taboos around sexuality.
