Adecuación del esfuerzo terapéutico en paciente crónico y proceso de final de vida: una perspectiva enfermera

Abstract

La Adecuación del Esfuerzo Terapéutico (AET) consiste en reorientar los objetivos terapéuticos del tratamiento para proporcionar al paciente dignidad y bienestar en sus últimos días de vida, pero: ¿qué papel tiene la enfermera en este proceso tan importarte de la vida?. A través de este Trabajo de Fin de Grado, se plasma la situación de la AET en los últimos años hasta la actualidad, mediante una revisión bibliográfica de la búsqueda de artículos de revisión y cualitativos. Finalmente, se aporta la justificación de la importancia que existe en el hecho de que la enfermera forme parte del proceso de AET, para garantizar que el paciente obtenga una serie de cuidados humanizados, imprescindible para qué este viva su proceso de muerte con dignidad.

The Adequacy of Therapeutic Effort (TEA) consists of reorienting the therapeutic objectives of the treatment to provide the patient with dignity and well-being in their last days of life, but: what role does the nurse have in this important process of life?. Through this End of Degree Project, the situation of the AET in the last years to the present is reflected, through a bibliographic review based on the search for review and qualitative articles. Finally, the justification of the importance that exists in the fact that the nurse is part of the TEA process that is provided, to guarantee that the patient obtains a series of humanized care, essential for the death process to live with dignity.
