This study aims to present the opportunities that can be undertaken to teach English among 5-years-old children with the use of Interactive White Board. The research investigates the importance of the English language in today’s world and the benefits that the IWB tool can offer in the teaching-learning process, analysing different experts on the methodological field and language teaching field suggest. The study consists of three parts: the first part an observation grid is done during the English sessions which exclusively the teacher and pupils use the Interactive White Board. In the second part, through a qualitative approach in which three early childhood teachers are interviewed, it is discussed how the IWB improves their teaching and what activities would work in a classroom context. In the third part, a didactic sequence with nine sessions had been created to improve the teaching methodology using the IWB. The results of this study are presented in this final dissertation.^^^^

Aquest estudi té com a objectiu presentar les oportunitats que es poden emprendre per ensenyar anglès a nens i nenes de 5 anys amb l’ús de la pissarra digital interactiva. La investigació estudia la importància de la llengua anglesa en el món actual i els beneficis que la pantalla digital interactiva pot oferir en el procés d’ensenyament-aprenentatge, analitzant diferents experts en el camp metodològic i l’ensenyament d’idiomes que suggereixen. L’estudi consta de tres parts: la primera part es fa una graella d’observació durant les sessions d’anglès que exclusivament el professor i els alumnes utilitzen la pissarra interactiva. A la segona part, mitjançant un enfocament qualitatiu en què s’entrevisten tres mestres d’educació infantil, es discuteix com la PDI millora la seva docència i quines activitats funcionarien en un context d’aula. A la tercera part es crea una seqüència didàctica amb nou sessions per millorar la metodologia d’ensenyament mitjançant la PDI. Els resultats d’aquest estudi es presenten en aquesta dissertació final.^^^^
