Efectes, causes i experiències viscudes en l'abandonament escolar prematur, una mirada als centres escolars i a les persones que es desvinculen d'aquests

Abstract

L’abandonament escolar prematur és considerat un dels majors problemes al qual s’ha d’enfrontar el sistema educatiu. Tot i els esforços que fins ara s’han dut a terme, encara ara s’observa com un nombre alarmant de joves es desvinculen de l’educació sense assolir els nivells mínims implantats pel sistema educatiu. Per aquesta raó, apareix una constant preocupació en la societat envers aquesta problemàtica, ja que un abandonament escolar prematur en aquests joves, afecta de manera directa al futur de la població i de la societat. Mitjançant aquest treball es busca aprofundir en les vivències i experiències tant de joves que han abandonat de manera prematura els estudis com de professionals de l’educació que vetllen perquè aquesta xifra cada vegada sigui menor, amb el propòsit de poder comprendre millor totes les raons i conseqüències d’abandonar de manera prematura els estudis. A través d’entrevistes semiestructurades a aquestes persones, s’espera comprendre la seva realitat al mateix temps que es contrasta el marc teòric amb les conclusions i les reflexions d’acord amb les respostes obtingudes pels participants.

Premature school dropout is considered one of the biggest problems facing the education system. Although much effort has been made, it is still seen as an alarming number of young people disassociate themselves from education without reaching the minimum levels implanted by the education system. For this reason, there is a constant concern in society about this problem, since early school drop-out in these young people directly affects the future of the population and society. Through this work, we are seeking to comprehend the experiences of both young people who have abandoned their studies prematurely and of educational professionals who are trying to reduce this number of dropouts, to be able to better understand all the reasons and consequences of prematurely abandoning the studies. Using semi-structured interviews, it is expected to understand the reality of these people while the theory is contrasted with the conclusions and reflections from the responses obtained by the participants.
