Factors afavoridors de l'èxit i continuïtat acadèmica a secundària: Les gitanes de Badia del Vallès

Abstract

El present Treball de Final de Grau pretén conèixer des d’una perspectiva socioeducativa, els factors que han afavorit les trajectòries acadèmiques de les estudiants gitanes de Badia del Vallès a l’etapa de Secundària. Per abordar aquesta investigació es plantegen dos objectius: el primer, centrat en identificar els factors vinculats a l’èxit i continuïtat educativa de les noies gitanes que han cursat l’ESO; el segon, determinar/conèixer quin impacte ha tingut el projecte “Gitanes i gitanos en moviment” de la Damiana Singla en les trajectòries de les estudiants, amb la finalitat de poder valorar la seva aplicabilitat Per respondre als objectius plantejats, s’ha escollit la metodologia qualitativa, realitzant entrevistes semiestructurades a les participants. Finalment, s’exposen els resultats de l’anàlisi, posant de manifest que la majoria dels factors citats al marc teòric coincideixen amb l’estudi de cas, i que n’hi ha altres factors que han tingut rellevància per a les noies, així com que el projecte “Gitanes i gitanos en moviment” ha tingut un gran impacte positiu en les seves trajectòries.

This study aims to understand, from a socio-educational perspective, some of the factors that have favorably impacted the academic careers of the gypsy students from Badia del Vallès during their secondary educational stages. There are two central objectives to this research; first, to identify the influential factors behind the academic success and continuity of the gypsy girls who have studied at the ESO; the second one, to determine the level of impact that the project "Gitanes i gitanos en moviment" from the Damiana Singla had on the trajectories of these students, with the purpose of assessing its applicability. A qualitative methodology has been chosen/preferred/selected as most adequate to target these objectives by conducting semi-structured interviews directly with the participants. As part of the conclusion of this research, we argue that most of the factors cited in the theoretical framework correspond with the presented case study. Finally, we recognize that further factors have been relevant to the success of the gypsy girls, just as we reaffirm that the project "Gitanes i gitanos en moviment" has had a great positive impact on their academic trajectories.
