Aplicació web per la gestió de les tutories amb els alumnes

Abstract

En aquest treball de fi de grau es realitza el desenvolupament d’una aplicació web per tal de facilitar i millorar la gestió de les tutories amb els alumnes, demanada específicament per un client, en aquest cas la Facultat de Ciències i Tecnologia de la Universitat de Vic. Es tracta d’una aplicació basada en una arquitectura client-servidor, estructurada en un patró de programació Model-Vista-Controlador (MVC) utilitzant el framework de Laravel. L’aplicació està dissenyada seguint un estil minimalista i responsiu per tal que sigui fàcil d’utilitzar per als usuaris més inexperts, inclús amb pantalles petites i de baixa resolució. Per una banda, amb aquesta aplicació es pretén que els tutors puguin tenir un millor control i seguiment dels seus alumnes així com millorar el tracte personalitzat cap a aquests, podent veure l’historial de les seves visites així com la seva fitxa acadèmica. A més a més ajudarà als professors a veure si estan contents o si han de canviar alguna cosa en referència a com imparteixen les seves classes. Els coordinadors també podran saber si tot està correcte en el seu grau i en cas negatiu saber com actuar en conseqüència. Per altra banda, els administradors podran gestionar tant el contingut de l’aplicació com els usuaris, així com saber l’estat general de la facultat en tot moment, mitjançant una plataforma entenedora i fàcil d’utilitzar.

In this final degree project, a web application is developed in order to facilitate and improve the management of tutorials with students, specifically requested by a client, in this case the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Vic. It’s an application based on a client-server architecture, structured in a Model-View-Controller (MVC) programming pattern using the Laravel framework. The application is designed following a minimalist style to make it easy to use for most inexperienced users, even with small and low-resolution screens. On the one hand, with this application it is intended that tutors can have better control and monitoring of their students as well as improve the personalized treatment being able to see the history of their visits as well as their academic record. It will also help teachers see if they are happy or if they need to change something in reference to how they teach their classes. Coordinators will also be able to see if everything is going well on their degree courses, and if not, know how to act accordingly. On the other hand, administrators will be able to manage both the content of the application and the users, as well as monitor/oversee the general state of the faculty at all times, through an understandable and easy to use platform.
