Anàlisi de l'evolució de la conceptualització i importància de l'amistat al llarg de la infància

Abstract

Aquest estudi es basa en l’exploració de les investigacions sobre l’evolució de la conceptualització i importància de l’amistat al llarg de cadascuna de les etapes de la infància. L’objectiu del present estudi és descriure les característiques més significatives de la comprensió de l’amistat en una mostra de 13 infants d’edats compreses entre tres i dotze anys, d’ambdós sexes, i cursants de P3 a 6è de Primària. La referència teòrica principal d’aquest estudi és la Teoria dels Estadis de la Presa de Consciència de L’Amistat aportada pels autors clàssics Selman i Shultz (1990), estretament lligada al progrés de les perspectives socio-cognitives comparant també amb altres estudis clàssics i actuals, per adoptar una visió més global. Per assolir els objectius, s’ha realitzat un estudi de camp de tipus descriptiu i transversal, a partir del disseny d’una entrevista semiestructurada que inclou les categories més fonamentals per a l’abordatge de l’objecte d’estudi. Per a la comparació amb les investigacions ja existents, s’ha seleccionat el contingut més rellevant, per la seva posterior categorització i interpretació. Les troballes obtingudes corroboren l’evolució en la construcció del concepte d’amistat a mesura que els infants creixen, tot i que mostren que la variable edat no és tan estrictament decisiva quant a la transició a determinades conceptualitzacions sobre aquesta, ja que acostumen a confluir. This study consists of exploring research on the evolution of the conceptualization and importance of friendship throughout each stage of childhood. The aim of the study is to describe the most significant characteristics of the understanding of friendship in a sample of 13 children aged between three and twelve, of both gender, from preschool (P3) to 6th grade of Primary School. The main theoretical reference of this study is the Theory of Stages of Awareness of Friendship provided by the classical authors Selman and Shultz (1990), closed linked to the progress of socio-cognitive perspectives, also comparing with other classic and current studies to adopt a more global view. To achieve the objectives, a descriptive and cross-sectional field study has been carried out, based on the design of a semi-structured interview that includes the most fundamental categories for approaching the object of the study. For comparison with existing research, the most relevant content has been selected for later categorization and interpretation. The findings obtained in this study confirm the evolution in the construction of the concept of friendship as children grow up, although they show that age is not strictly decisive in the transition to certain conceptualizations about it, since they tend to converge.
