Abstract

RESUM EXECUTIU. Actualment la població està provocant un gran canvi al planeta a causa de les diferents activitats que duu a terme. Aquests canvis ens han ajudat a ser la societat que veiem avui en dia, però també estan contribuint a empitjorar la sostenibilitat del planeta. A més, en uns anys els sistemes de producció d’aliments convencionals no seran suficients per alimentar a tota la població, fent inviable seguir amb aquests sistemes de producció actuals. Segons la FAO, la producció d’aliments hauria d’augmentar en un 70% per l’any 2050 per poder alimentar a tot el món. A més a més, el fet que la riquesa i la urbanització també hagin evolucionat, fa que la demanda de la proteïna animal també incrementi. Aquesta situació provoca una gran pressió sobre els recursos naturals de la Terra i fa que augmenti la competència pel sòl per a produir aliments, pinsos i combustibles, dificultant així el desafiament de la sostenibilitat ambiental. KICADAE busca millorar la relació entre la natura i l’ésser humà, fent que la població vegi el gran potencial que té el nostre ecosistema. Així doncs, promou una activitat ramadera on es crien grills ja que requereix de menys quantitat de recursos i pot aportar un valor nutricional als aliments més potents que la resta d’indústries alimentàries convencionals. La constitució i el desenvolupament de l’empresa requereix una inversió inicial d’uns 123.730€, dels quals 30.000€ serà el capital aportat pels socis. S’obtenen beneficis des del primer any, el VAN és positiu, la TIR és del 29’95% i es recupera la inversió inicial a partir del primer trimestre del tercer any. Marc Domingo Carreño, estudiant de Nutrició Humana i Dietètica, és el fundador i responsable de KICADAE. Opta amb l’ajuda de l’Ivan Domingo Carreño, graduat en Biologia i especialitzat en malalties zoonòtiques i el concepte una sola salut. Amb el desenvolupament d’aquesta granja es té com a missió oferir un producte eficient i assequible a escala mundial, a part de poder ser reconeguts com a empresa líder en el sector i amb un bon servei envers el client i altres empreses. Estem convençuts que KICADAE és viable i, a més, podrà ser una empresa fonamental pels anys que venen a continuació. La societat necessita noves alternatives per tal de reduir aquest impacte generat envers el planeta i per poder subsistir en els pròxims anys. Per aquests motius, invertir en un projecte que pot millorar la salut del planeta i pot pal·liar les necessitats bàsiques de la població és molt assequible i necessari per assegurar un bon desenvolupament a les futures generacions, i poder estar en sintonia amb el medi ambient.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY. Currently, the population is causing a great change to the planet due to the different activities it carries out. These changes have helped us to become the society we see today, but they are also contributing to worsening the sustainability of the planet. Furthermore, in a few years, conventional food production systems will not be sufficient to feed the entire population, making it unfeasible to continue with these current production systems. According to the FAO, food production would have to increase by 70% by 2050 to be able to feed worldwide. In addition, the fact that wealth and urbanization have also evolved means that the demand for animal protein will also increase. This situation causes great pressure on the Earth's natural resources and increases competition for land to produce food, feed and fuel, thus making the challenge of environmental sustainability more difficult. KICADAE seeks to improve this relationship between nature and man, making the population see the great potential of our ecosystem. It therefore promotes a livestock activity where crickets are bred as it requires less resources and can provide nutritional value to more powerful food than the other conventional food industries. The establishment and development of the company requires an initial investment of about 123.730€, of which 30.000€ will be the capital contributed by the partners. Profits are made from the first year, the VAN is positive, the TIR is 29’95% and the initial investment is recovered from the first quarter of the third year. Marc Domingo Carreño, student of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, is the founder and responsible of KICADAE. He opts with the help of Ivan Domingo Carreño, graduated in Biology and specialized in zoonotic diseases and the concept of one health. The development of this farm is intended to provide an efficient and affordable product on a global scale, as well as being recognized as a leading company in the sector and with a good service to the customer and other companies. We are convinced that KICADAE is viable and, moreover, can be a fundamental undertaking for the years that follow. Society needs new alternatives to reduce this impact on the planet and to be able to survive in the coming years. For these reasons, investing in a project that can improve the health of the planet and can alleviate the basic needs of the population is very affordable and necessary to ensure a good development for future generations, and to be in tune with the environment.
