Resum: Aquest estudi investiga la relació que hi ha entre els nivells d'activitat física dels infants i el temps que passen davant la pantalla amb el rendiment acadèmic. La mostra que s'ha utilitzat per fer la recerca ha estat formada per un total de 73 participants (35 nenes i 38 nens) de l'escola Vedruna de Berga. A partir del qüestionari IPAQ-C i HELENA s'ha pogut observar el nivell d'activitat física dels infants i el temps que passen davant les pantalles. D'aquesta manera, s'han realitzat dues taules de contingència a partir de percentatges per analitzar si hi ha relació entre els nivells d'activitat física, el temps de pantalles i les qualificacions. Els resultats obtinguts són molt diversos, en algunes ocasions es veu una relació força significativa i en d’altres no es pot concloure que hi hagi relació. No obstant això, s'han pogut observar diferents aspectes molt interessants en relació a aquest tema.

Abstract: This study aims to investigate the relationship between children's physical activity levels and the time they spend in front of a screen with their academic performance. To carry out the research the sample used has been composed of 73 participants altogether (35 girls and 38 boys) from the Vedruna School in Berga. The IPAQ-C and the HELENA questionnaires have been used in order to measure the physical activity levels of the children and the time they spend in front of a screen. Then, two contingency tables based on percentages have been made to analyse if there is any relation between physical activity levels, screen times, and qualifications. The results obtained are very unalike, given that in some cases a quite significant relationship can be seen, but in others the relationship between the variables can not be proven. Despite of this, some quite interesting key aspects have been observed regarding this topic.
